The rage of the left

President-elect Barack Obama has announced that he has asked Fred Phelps to give the invocation at the presidential inauguration Jan. 20. The left side of the blogosphere -- the Obamaniacs who got him elected -- are apoplectic.

Wait a second.

It appears I got the name wrong.

No, Obama invited Rick Warren, author of the bestselling "Purpose Driven Life," to give the invocation.

I apologize for the mistake, but you can see how I'd assume that it would be someone like Phelps considering the reaction from the radical left.

  1. [...] I mentioned the lefty blogosphere’s outrage at the invitation Pastor Rick Warren received from Barack Obama to give the invocation at Obama’s inauguration. But it wasn’t just the lefty blogosphere, the Christian left also decided to weigh in. Courtesy of Christopher Johnson over at the Midwest Conservative Journal, we have Episcopal Bishop John Chane. I'm not an IFCN verified fact checker but if you're going to say it's false that Biden wants to ban handguns, maybe don't...and stay with me here...include a quote of Biden saying he wants to ban handguns.

PolitiFact are partisan liars.

Biden explicitly said, about “9-mm PISTOLS” that can fire large-capacity magazines: "I’m continuing to push to ELIMINATE the sale of those things."

House GOP was RIGHT when it said Biden wants to ban handguns. PolitiFact dishonestly added “all.” https://twitter.com/PolitiFact/status/1418309431029342208

PolitiFact@PolitiFact

[email protected] said @JoeBiden "wants to ban handguns."

He doesn't. He wants to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Neither would touch the most popular handguns.
