Last week, Sen. Joe Biden went off the reservation again in an effort to woo environmentalists and he came out against "clean coal" power plants.

The problem is, that that's not Barack Obama's stated position.

But the Obama campaign isn't saying that Biden misspoke or misunderstood the campaign's official position -- nope, their response is to call the McCain camp liars.

“This is yet another false attack from a dishonorable campaign. Senator McCain knows that Senator Obama and Senator Biden support clean coal technology. Senator Biden’s point is that China is building coal plants with outdated technology every day, and the United States needs to lead by developing clean coal technologies."

No. That is not what Biden said. What Biden said was that we need to create clean coal technology so we can give it to those polluting Chinese.

Exact quote: "No coal plants here in America."

Dishonorable? Maybe Obama should look in the mirror.
