That didn't take long

It took less than a week for now-Democrat Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania to start sounding like his cohorts Sen. John Kerry and former Sen. John Edwards who once said that if you elected them to the White House, actor Christopher Reed would walk again.

Speaking on CBS' "Face the Nation," the "crapweasel" had this to say:

Mr. Specter continued: "If we had pursued what President Nixon declared in 1970 as the war on cancer, we would have cured many strains. I think Jack Kemp would be alive today. And that research has saved or prolonged many lives, including mine."

Specter has no idea what kind of cancer Kemp suffered from. His statement is odious and idiotic and we thank the Democratic Party for taking this jackass off our hands.

Dear God: Can we please trade Jack Kemp for Arlen Specter?
