The line has been identified

I mentioned earlier this week that Obama supporters have said a lot of outrageous things, but that we still hadn't located the line that, if crossed, would be too much for Sen. Barack Obama to stomach.

Calling John McCain a warmonger isn't past the line.

Calling on God to "damn America" isn't over the line.

Spinning conspiracy theories/slanders that the U.S. government invented AIDS to kill black people. (As near as I can tell this would've been in development during the Jimmy Carter administration.)

Nope, what crosses the line is calling some kids climbing in a tree "monkeys."

Note that the name-caller, one Linda Ramirez Sliwinski was issued a $75 disorderly conduct ticket "after her neighbors complained to police about the comment."

If that's all that happened in this case, then we've got serious First Amendment issues in Barack Obama's Chicago.
