The moon landing was faked too

Some of those voting machine luddites are suing to overturn Rep. Brian Bilbray's 4-point special election win over Francine Busby on the grounds that "there is no way to ensure that the voting machines used by county elections officials were not tampered with by space aliens from the planet Wackolib Six in the Snickers galaxy."

The Seattle-area attorney, Paul Lehto, said that he believes some machines were tampered with, Tom Cruise is right about psychiatry and intergalactic tyrants exploding nuclear bombs in volcanos, Islam means peace, Mary Ann was sexier than Ginger and that JFK was assassinated by Halliburton contractors on the grassy knoll.

  1. While it is unlikely that the machines were tampered with, Diebold machines have a history of HUGE FARGIN security holes and a complete unwillingness to be open about their processes.

THERE SHOULD BE NO ALL ELECTRONIC BALLOTING. If you're not generating a CLEAR AND READABLE paper trail you're trying to hide something.

  2. Trying to hide something?

I can understand the argument that no paper trail leaves doubt as to the results because there might be no way to determine if an error occurred, but to claim that there is definitely a consipracy because your preferred system isn't used is disingenuous. If you are going to make accusations, provide evidence.
