Sanity in Georgia?

It looks like Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Cop-puncher) is going to be sent packing from Congress again -- Fox News reported that she's trailing her opponent, Hank Johnson by 15-20 points in most polls.

But that's not what I want to share with you. No, I want you to know that the nutjob who you pass on the street talking to themselves and occasionally yelling cuss words can be elected to Congress.

McKinney debated her opponent the other night, and you can check out the round-by-round scorecard here. What's of interest, however, is McKinney's closing statement incoherent rant.

Thank you very much. An ordinance which was found unconstitutional written by an attorney. Dr. King reminded us that the measure of a man is where he stands in challenging controversy. I stand. Alongside our troops and our veterans, working families, and Mr. Clark, who could get no help from Mr. Johnson when his land was swallowed up by a landfill. Eisenhower reminds us that every dollar spent on war is a theft from the people. And I have brought more than $350 million. Send me back to Washington, so I can speak truth to power. [sic, sic, sic, and sic]

And you thought you did poorly when you got up in front of the class for show-and-tell in first grade.
