Pig wrestling

By Matthew Hoy on August 22, 2006

There's an old saying that goes something along the lines that you shouldn't wrestle with pigs because all that ends up happening is you get dirty -- and the pig likes it.

Taking that into account, I'm going to keep my comments on the post below to a minimum and here's the minimum.

First, it's pretty obvious that RCL has a serious case of BDS.

Second, this "seeking truth" argument is lame. There's not desire to seek truth here, it's a desire to hide the truth. If some nut is walking around downtown San Diego with a sandwich board that says "The End is Here" and you ask him how he knows and his reply is that he's god and he's going to destroy the world at 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon, then "seeking truth" doesn't mean that we take him seriously. Seeking truth is just the opposite -- the guy is a nut.

I loved this line:

Instead, I would assert that you are siding with the terrorists by being unwilling to look into who actually was behind the 9/11 disaster, and taking the list of terrorists that the govt has already admitted is only a guess.

The government hasn't admitted anything of the sort. But it's the first part I'd like to focus on, after all, if your "truth" is true, then how can I be siding with the terrorists? There are none.

I also liked this one:

Hoy uses the “slippery slope” argument, stating that we should be ready to air completely whacko stuff.

The whacko stuff? Among those "whacko" things I listed was that the suicide of Vince Foster was actually a Clinton assassination. (Once again, I think that conspiracy theory is Bolshevik Storytelling.) Think about it for a second. A conspiracy to cover-up that one murder would require how many people to be involved? My guess is no more than a dozen. According to RCL, that's "completely whacko stuff."

But a conspiracy to disappear four passenger airliners and hundreds of passengers and civilian airline personnel, replace them with military refueling tankers, fly three of those planes into buildings (but not the fourth, which was or wasn't a civilian plane that was or wasn't shot down by either an F-15 or a mysterious white learjet), place explosives in the Twin Towers and detonate them an hour after impact, order that the military stand down and allow the attacks to happen -- all this would require hundreds if not thousands of co-conspirators, none of whom have come forward.

And this conspiracy is truth-seeking and the other one is "completely whacko"?

Mourn the deaths of FDR, Harry S Truman, JFK, Scoop Jackson and the serious Democratic Party.

This will be the last 9/11 conspiracy post. RCL is free to rant and rave until he gets it out of his system.

  1. Mr. Hoy, you continue to miss the point, and take my comments out of context.

Consider this: Your Republican friends wasted at least $40M looking into the whitewater dead-end just to keep Clinton tied up. Meanwhile, if you go to the UK, Clinton is a champ. Why? Because he helped solve the N/S Ireland conflict that had been going on for hundreds of years. You may think he did nothing. Those in the UK have nothing but praise for him. That war is over.

So, we spend $40M on whitewater but far less than that to investigate the 9/11 disaster. You may want to deride specific theories (and I think you have some basis for your point of view) BUT, the fact remains that the LEVEL OF INVESTIGATION WAS EMBARASSING.

My point still stands regarding the passenger manifests. Where are the original documents that show the terrorists? Show me the proof.

You think that thousands would have to be in on it. I'm not convinced. The military had no less than 15 military exercises occuring on Sept. 11, including vigilant guardian, which moved most of our defenses up over Canada. The result was a huge hole in our defenses in the area of the action of 9/11. I find it hard to believe that Islamic terrorists somehow were able to get all of our defenses to move out of the way.

I can tell that you really haven't looked into this yourself. Take a look at sites like

    http://www.pentagonresearch.com

You will be amazed at the level of research and careful reconstruction of the facts. Reconstructions, by the way, that most citizens feel should have been performed by the government. Why not?

Does the author of that site swallow every possiblility? Not at all. In fact, you might say he may support the conventional story more than any other competing theory. Yet, the question still stands. Why do we have to have private citizens doing these reconstructions when the govt doesn't do it?

The only thing the govt seemed to have time for is the lengthy report on the strength of the Pentagon building. It's almost as if they wanted to have the "airliner" crash into the building so it could be tested. However, if you are diligent, you will note yourself that the pillars inside the building were still intact at the far side yet a huge round hole was blown out of the inside wall. Do you have the analytic skills to see that the round hole would be impossible if all the pillars will untouched inside? Maybe not, and if so, then I've afraid that the 9/11 truth investigators are well past your analysis.

I realize that probably no one else reads this blog except for you and me, and any commenters you might have are probably yourself making comments on your on work with a snicker or two or even a wink, much like someone writing in a journal. The problem with that is that you can get way off course because you're not checking your opinions with reality.

Assume for a moment that Bush is just a pawn in a much larger chess game, one worth billions of dollars for the corporations running our country -- the military industrial complex -- the one Eisenhower warned us about. They had similar planning for bogus attacks in the Northwoods affair, now declassified, trying to get into a war with Cuba and therefore Russia.

Those people plan for military actions all the time, and they could easily plan this one, with very few people involved. They have power to organize the various war games to move our defenses out of the area, and to provide numerous fake blips on the screen. It is fact that this occurred. All those people who move out of the area were ignorant of the real reason for these deceptive war games. They weren't "in" on it, but they were one more pawn in the game.

Because I hope that these people have some level of ethics, I will assume the passenger lists were bogus and that the passengers never got on, just like the Northwoods plan. The planes were remotely piloted into the towers and into the pentagon. All the passengers could be loaded into Flt 93 and landed in Cleveland, as documented and recounted by Loose Change. The hole in the ground at Shanksville was obviously prepped.

Then they planted the list of terrorists that are being used as the basis for release to the media and sites like this one. They needed an evil adversary that was everywhere and anywhere, and so they came up with this idea of "Al Qaeda". Then, they planted the anthrax as well to make it seem that Al Qaeda was everywhere and anywhere. Our investigation into the Anthrax threats seems to have been dropped completely, and no neocon wants to look into that either. I would guess they don't want to look into it because it would lead back to the dark forces that have now taken over our government.

Yes, they've taken it over, and they are torturing and incarcerating anyone who seems to be a "terrorist", whether or not there is any proof. Our military is depleted, our fiscal situation is a wreck, and the republican congress continues to spend and borrow, and borrow, and borrow. And, sell, sell, sell to China and other countries.

But this is starting to unravel as citizens continue to ask hard questions and realize that there has been a massive cover up.

If you're like me, this makes me sick to my stomach. I take no pleasure in this realization. I would rather be talking about the republicans of a few decades ago, the pre-Newt days when they were still sane. What we see now is a grab for absolute power by the executive. The sad thing is that some of the citizens don't seem to notice. They support every illegal move. I'm talking about you, Mr. Hoy.

Yes, I know your're not planning to respond. That's because your position is untenable to reasonable discussion. So, go ahead rant about irrelevant topics. It will only point out that you indeed don't have the support for your position.

In the end, if 9/11 was contrived, the Bush admin has nothing left to hold it together. It's over. Without 9/11, no one will support Bush. It's that important, and it points out a clear motive: control of the masses through fear. It's working.

    Will you notice?

    Probably not.

  2. Ignore him. Maybe he'll start on the conspiracy to kill JFK again. Or the UFOs hidden at Roswell.

The government is just full of people who can keep secrets. That's why we read them in the NY Times every day.

  3. It's sad to see that the readers of this blog can't respond to the substance of any contributions, just to put in pictures of nut platters or make mindless comments. I admit, I've wasted my time.

But, there is another possibility. You may actually agree with much of what I am saying but you don't want to let on to the administration who is undoubtedly reading this blog as well. Good work, guys. If I didn't realize what you were up to, I would think you didn't agree with me!

    RCL

  4. I'll take a stab at one piece of pecan-pie precursor:

Why is it necessary to haul in the military exercise? Just don't vector the aircraft toward the airliners. Before 9-11, we had few standing patrols. Don't have many now, as it happens. So the critical time is between figuring out that we have to shoot down the aircraft--no time at all for New York, a few minutes for the Pentagon--and getting fighters off the ground and to the aircraft in question.

So, instead of having anybody do a major exercise to move the fighters out of the way, just delay the shootdown until it's too late. Only takes a minute or two of pretending to decide.

The other stuff, about the military being a wreck and the financial situation being a disaster is Bolshevik Storytelling. If there is the least shred of support for such positions, it's cherrypicking and claiming that this or that index has about a zillion times more importance than all the other indexes pointing the other way.

RCL has forgotten that most adults have been dealing with people like him for years. He is like the junior high student who thinks he's got a new plan to fool an experienced teacher.

  5. (But, there is another possibility. You may actually agree with much of what I am saying but you don’t want to let on to the administration)

Ok, ok, ok, RCL you’re right, now please refrain from bringing it up again! I can hear the black helicopters coming already.

  6. RCL is obviously deluded AND stupid.

The 9/11 "conspiracy" basically boils down to this: if you have an IQ in single digits, you belong to the group that believes the whole thing didn't happen as we all saw it happen on tv.

If your IQ is above that line, you can write off these nitwits and get on with our lives.

  7. "the pre-Newt days when they were still sane."

Now we know what happened to the Democrats. Newt turned them all insane.

Any party that would Laughing Jackass Howard Dean to run their show cannot be dealing with anything resembling a full deck.
