San Francisco liberals

San Francisco Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval, a Democrat, was on Fox News' "Hannity & Colmes" last night to talk about his opposition to having the USS Iowa turned into a museum on the San Francisco bayfront. Of course, it didn't take long for Sandoval to show how completely insane he is -- he wants the U.S. to get rid of its military -- and if someone attacks us, we'll have the police and the Coast Guard. To prove how completely out of touch he is, Sandoval actually accused Alan Colmes of being a warmonger.

  1. If I didn't hear and see this for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. UFB! Let's see if any left of center blogs or news outlets take this guy to task for such an idotic stance. By his reasoning, we should despense with all of our police department as well.

  2. The question is, where did this dipshit come from? I mean, is he an illegal, were his parents illegals, etc.?

I cannot believe anyone but a complete moron (read: liberal) or an illegal alien would care so little for America as to say we should have no military. How this man got to be a supervisor in San Francisco shows how utterly out of touch leftwingers in America truly are.

  3. The good thing is for him to get his message out, for his position to be clear for all to see, and for those who agree with him to announce that support. Clearly defining these idiots is the surest way to defeat them.

We last saw Sandoval in February when he was advocating the complete disarmament of America’s military — except the Coast Guard — and assured us that we could be protected by cops. He returned to last night’s “Hannity & Colmes” TV show and blamed the hosts and the show’s format for not allowing him to properly convey his nuanced position on military power. When given the opportunity to explain his position to his heart’s content, Sandoval again refused to be baited by the wily hosts and reconfirmed his desire to get rid of the military. [...]
