He's gonna squeal like a stuck pig

Though I must confess I've never heard the squeal of a stuck pig, but if you listen today you'll hear that sound emanate from Michael Moore and his minions (sounds like a bad '50s band). Today's Wall Street Journal has an editorial (sorry, subscribers only) that begins:

Michael Moore, the Leni Riefenstahl of our time...

That's right. The Journal editorial page has likened the left's favorite filmmaker to the very best Nazi propaganist.

Over the top? Maybe. But Moore has brought this sort of comparison upon himself by his belief that Republicans deserve death. After all, it was Moore himself who complained that the 9/11 attacks didn't kill enough Republicans.

The substance of the Journal editorial is that the new campaign finance law may bar Moore from advertising his film starting July 30 -- 30 days before the GOP convention.

I still think the law is wrong -- but all of those "reformers" whose goal it was to get all of the dirty corporate money out of politics have succeeded to a certain extent. Unfortunately, they didn't foresee that it would affect them. After all, Democrats are the party of the people, right?
