Just say whatever you want

President Obama made the following statement at his 7,384th health care reform address yesterday in Strongsville, Ohio.

How many people are getting insurance through their jobs right now?  Raise your hands.  All right.  Well, a lot of those folks, your employer it’s estimated would see premiums fall by as much as 3,000 percent [sic], which means they could give you a raise.

*sigh* I’m not sure whether to decry the state of math education among Harvard Law School grads, the failure of the media to pounce on this as evidence of the speaker’s obvious lack of intellect (see Media Bias, liberal and Treatment of Bush, George W.) or the fact that it appears the man can tell any lie he’d like and no one cares anymore.
