Your campaign contributions at work

John Edwards will not be the Democrat nominee for president in 2008. He won't occupy the No. 2 spot on the ticket again either.
What prompts me to come to this conclusion?
A guy who is constantly railing about inequality and "two Americas" everytime a camera approaches -- even if he is a wealthy individual -- cannot be seen to flaunt that wealth with conspicuous spending.
The 28,000-square-foot home with the indoor basketball court is bad enough.
But $400 haircuts? Just 2 1/2 weeks apart?
Concerned about the two Americas? Go to the local hole-in-the-wall barber shop that charges $8 and give the guy a $392 tip.
