Disappointed, not surprised

If this turns out to be accurate, and Drudge has said he's confirmed it, then it should be pretty obvious that the Democrats are in trouble.

The Kerry/Edwards campaign and the Democratic National Committee are advising election operatives to declare voter intimidation -- even if none exists, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

A 66-page mobilization plan to be issued by the Kerry/Edwards campaign and the Democratic National Committee states: "If no signs of intimidation techniques have emerged yet, launch a 'pre-emptive strike.'"

Yes, and you thought that the Democrat Party, by and large, opposed pre-emptive strikes.

This sort of behavior is disgusting. Democrats lament the vicious, acidic division in today's political climate, but ignore their own contributions -- like this one. If you're promoting lies about people being disenfranchised, anyone who (foolishly) believes it will be more hostile to the people believed to be behind it.

"We all know the Republicans are going to try to steal the election by scaring people and confusing people," the top DNC source explained.

More evidence that CBS News is carrying water for the Democratic Party -- the claims are "fake, but accurate."
