Last week, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein confirmed news media reports that those Predator drones that are causing terrorists in the lawless Pakistan tribal regions to come down with bad cases of death are actually based in Pakistan.

In a just world, this would get blabbermouth Feinstein kicked off the intelligence committee and possibly censured. Instead, nothing will happen to Feinstein.

Unfortunately, this will strain U.S.-Pakistani relations and could possibly make the CIA and military's jobs more difficult if they lose the now-confirmed Pakistani bases as a staging point.
