Inconvenient facts

Despite what the mainstream media and America-hating zealots have been peddling for the past few years, Saddam Hussein was a terror supporter, and we're not just talking about his checks to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers.

The Weekly Standard's Stephen Hayes has been badgering the Bush administration (something he shouldn't have had to do) to release documents found in the aftermath of the military victory in Iraq that detail Saddam's ties with terrorists around the world.

Hayes finally got his hands on some of them. It would likely put to rest the media myth that Saddam had nothing to do with terrorists (because they're religious zealots and he was a secularist) except that it's unlikely the mainstream media is interested enough to do any front page stories on the newly released documents. In fact, I'd bet against any of the big three newspapers (New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times) doing any front-page stories on these newly-revealed ties.
