Racial conformity

There’s too many black Americans — predominately Democrats — who honestly believe that if you don’t hew to the liberal/victimhood political line, then you’re somehow not a “real” black person. (The “oreo” slur is a perfect example of this.)

This belief can have the occasional effect of making liberal blacks sound a lot like white racists.

Responding to a resolution to change the name of a highway in DeKalb County, Ga., by removing whackjob former Rep. Cynthia McKinney’s name from it because she “brought embarrassment to the state of Georgia,” her former campaign manager, John Evans, had this to say:

“He must be talking about white folks or uppity black folks.”

Can’t you feel the hate?
