After watching the vice presidential debate on tape delay, there's just a few points/observations I want to make:
Who won? I don't know if that's an answerable question. I don't think anyone lost. Palin certainly assuaged concerns that shes out of her league. I think most of us knew what we were getting with Biden and there were no surprises there. (Lawyer and constitutional expert Biden got his constitutional law wrong! Don't expect any media reporting on this.)
What this debate showed was -- like in just about every other presidential race in history -- who the vice president is won't be a decisive factor.

She did better than I expected. ALthough it was too bad there were not follow up questions allowed. I think Biden owned the last part of the debate when it got to foreign policy.
Overall not a disaster for either of them.
