The Politico has an inside baseball story about ethics/earmark reform in the Senate. Those of you who follow Porkbusters and those issues will find the story interesting because it appears that the Democrat-led Senate is trying to outsource its rules to the House.

However, today we point and laugh at Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who attacked GOP Sen. Jim DeMint's spokesman with the following dinger:

Jim Manley, Reid’s spokesman, calls those assertions “phony as a two-dollar bill.”

In the interest of furthering Manley's education, maybe Reid's supporters should send him a couple $2 bills.
