I was going to wait to talk about the stem cell bill recently signed by California Gov. Gray Davis until I'd had time to digest it and until I'd heard what Ramesh Ponnuru had to say. The first of these things has occurred. To summarize, if you don't want to follow the link, Ramesh says that the bill is no big deal, because, as of right now, it's currently the same as the federal law.
