Last weekend, Democratic Rep. Mike Capuano rallied a crowd in Boston to support protesters in Wisconsin:
“I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary.”
Today, in Washington, D.C., a union protester picketing outside FreedomWorks, a conservative organization that has approaching zero to do with what’s going on in Wisconsin, hit a girl.
So much for the calls for civility. So much for the idea that violence comes predominantly from the right.
