Good riddance to bad rubbish

Ted Stevens has lost his Senate seat. If the self-important, pompous jerk had thought more of his principles or his party, he would've retired and let a Republican win a seat that only a convicted felon could lose. Now Alaska, a solid Republican state, has a Democrat representing it for the next six years.

Stevens, and his buddies in the GOP, deserve what they got.

Let's not forget Stevens' buddies.

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell

Sen. Daniel Inouye

Sen. Orrin Hatch

They all put loyalty to Stevens above the truth and their principles.

  1. If Colin Powell thinks Stevens is an honorable man, it shows that he has no integrity or principles. Powell and his liberal illuminati friends put loyalty above the truth. If he can't tell the difference between good and bad, then I'm glad he never ran for President. Why would we want another politico in Washington who glosses over corruption by stating "he didn't know about the charges" against Stevens. He must be blind, deaf and particularly dumb!
