Only a politician -- or professional athlete -- can manage this degree of arrogance.
Sorry, but the man behind the assault on free speech that is McCain-Feingold isn't going to get a lot of conservative votes -- and he's certainly not going to get mine.

Glad to see you haven't drunk the McCain Cool-Aide like some of the Powerline guys apparently have. I really couldn't bring myself to vote for him even to beat Hillary. I'd consider it a vote against the Constitution, and I would rather endure the reign of Lady Sauron herself. People constantly claim violations of the First Amendment on every issue whether it's pertinent or not, but with McCain we've got someone who really has attacked the heart of what the Founders envisioned.
