Friday's Los Angeles Times had a great article on Army Special Forces Capt. Jeffrey "Toz" Toczylowski -- a soldier who died in Iraq on Nov. 4, 2005. His dying wish was a $100k party for his friends and family in Las Vegas.
The article is heartwarming and you can really see what kind of man we've lost. But the article also carries a message for the "We Support the Troops, Get Them Out" caucus.
"Don't ever think that you are defending me by slamming the Global War on Terrorism or the U.S. goals in that war," Toczylowski wrote. "As far as I am concerned, we can send guys like me to go after them or we can wait for them to come back to us again. I died doing something I believed in and have no regrets except that I couldn't do more."
RIP, Toz.
