Serenity again

I went and saw Serenity again last night. Apparently not enough of you went out to see it, and it only picked up about $10 million. So, in an effort to get more of you out to the theaters, I thought you might want to check out this:

Yes, each and every one of them appears in the movie.

I encourage you to see the movie. I also encourage you to go to a decent theater to see it. The preview screening arranged for bloggers and others was in a decidedly less-than-modern theater. I have a better sound system at home than the AMC La Jolla has. When I saw Serenity again tonight, it was in a newer theater with a Dolby Digital sound system and it made quite a bit of difference.

On a totally unrelated note: I know that leasing cars makes zilch economic sense. It's a rip-off. You make car payments, but you don't own the car and you take the brunt of new car depreciation. Having said that, I can understand paying a premium to not have to deal with all of the garbage caused by an aging car. Attempting to leave the theater, my gorram car battery decided to die. I haven't had the dang thing for more than two years -- and it's dead. I got a jump and got home, but this is ridiculous. The fuel pump relay died last week. The car just turned four years old -- and this is the second battery I've put in the thing. Once this gorram Chevy Cavalier finally gives up the ghost, I think I'll be buying a used Lexus or Toyota (yes, I know they're manufactured by the same company). I'm done with American cars.
