I'm writing another post on the Schiavo debate in parallel with this one. In it I praised Maryland Democrat Steny Hoyer for making one of the more statesman-like speeches of the evening. Then he said this:

Because, like birth, death will come to us all.

Ummm...not according to your party, Rep. Hoyer. Millions of people each year don't get birth, because you choose something else.
