I've been to the lowest depths of hell

I just finished watching 10 minutes of Ted Rall on "The O'Reilly Factor." There's currently no transcript of the exchange up on Fox News' Web site, and I'm certainly not going to listen to Rall's idiocy again.

Among the highlights:

  • Egyptian Islamic Jihad committed the 9/11 attacks -- not Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda.
  • We should've attacked Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan -- instead of Afghanistan and Iraq.
  • Afghanistan today is worse off than it was under the Taliban.
  • The New York Times only has one or two liberal columnists. (He didn't indicate which ones exactly, I'm guessing Paul Krugman and ... anyone but William Safire and David Brooks.)

Apparently if you buy Rall's latest book, not only will your I.Q. drop several thousand points, but you will have all of the top secret intelligence information that points to Rush Limbaugh being responsible for 9/11.

Rall needs to put his Pat Tillman cartoon on a T-shirt and wear it on a USO tour -- then the world would be a better place.
