They told me if I voted for John McCain, the government would crack down on free speech and dissent, and they were right!

Can we flush this out with more of an article on what this was all about? Also, since you are a bona fide or at least hold a degree or something fancy like that, are you a member of the press? Maybe you could be a blogger who IS entitled to 1st Amendment rights 😉
There's really not much more to go on right now. In addition to the British blogger, notices were sent to WordPress.com and a couple other hosting providers in the U.S. telling them to preserve records, but not to turn anything over (yet).
