Waivermania

President Barack Obama won plaudits from some government watchdog types for his new ethics rules that forbade people who had lobbied the government during the past two jobs from taking posts in his administration.

It turns out, Obama's rule isn't much of a "rule." In Obama's first 13 full days in office, he's issued 17 waivers to this rule. Of course, you need to be reading the English-language newspaper of India (not Indiana) to find this out.

The honeymoon continues.
