CBN's David Brody asked Sen. Barack Obama about the NRLC's discovery -- with solid documentary evidence -- that Obama voted down a state bill identical to the federal Born-Alive Infant Protection Act that Obama claims he supported.
Obama calls the NRLC liars -- without any documentary proof other than his own say-so.
Sorry, but that just won't do it.
And then he goes a step further.
It's one thing for people to disagree with me about the issue of choice, it's another thing for people to out and out misrepresent my positions repeatedly, even after they know that they're wrong.
Try to hold that in your mind at the same time you recall Obama's dishonest claim that McCain wanted to fight in Iraq for 100 years and try to avoid the minor stroke that juxtapositioning would cause.
There's this too:
So for people to suggest that I and the Illinois medical society, so Illinois doctors were somehow in favor of withholding life saving support from an infant born alive is ridiculous.
Unfortunately, that's exactly what was happening according to Jill Stanek.
If Obama wants to continue claiming that he is being wronged, then he needs to show documentation that proves the NRLC got it wrong. Just saying "it ain't so" isn't good enough.
