I'm not saying that this phrasing is spreading through the blogosphere because I was among the first to argue for it, but it is spreading.

We also have what is purported to be an audio clip from Obama's state senate days apparently arguing that a second doctor entering the room to consult on what treatment an accidentally born infant should receive would be too emotionally painful for the mother.
Finally, quite a few people have noted that in his appearance at Saddleback Church last week, Obama said one of America's great moral failures was that we hadn't lived up to Jesus' command in Matthew that whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me. Apparently what counts as "the least of these" is dependent on what will get you elected in a Democratic stronghold.
