Blog news

Visitors the last few days may have noticed that the blog changed between how it looked now and how it looked months ago periodically without rhyme or reason.

I've tried to track down what was causing the switching (it wasn't me) and I can't figure it out for the life of me, so I've removed the theme-switcher and hope to replace it at a later date with something that isn't so aggravating.

For those of you who find this this theme difficult to read, I apologize. If it was something where the theme switched after every post, I'd deal with that. But I went to bed last night and it was the Redoable theme and woke up this morning and it was the default theme.

Give me some time and I'm hoping to come up with an alternate CSS stylesheet with a cool button you can click on to change to dark text on white, but for now, this is the only template.

Also, I've been working my way through the archives trying to fix post titles and assign categories to ancient posts. I've gotten to May 2004 and fewer than 1,800 posts to go. It'll be awhile before "uncategorized" is no longer the largest tag.

UPDATE

I just checked the site and it wouldn't come up at all. Apparently it somehow "lost" this theme and only swapping in the old default theme and and then deleting it seemed to bring it back. I'll continue to monitor the site, but this is troubling. I may have to switch themes altogether.

  1. I hope you are able to get this problem resolved soon. I have always enjoyed your blog even though I find it difficult to read. The black type on a white background is much easier for me.

    Keep up the good blogging.
