Watching the Chargers vs. Titans this afternoon (I TiVo'd it so as to not have to wake up early.) I wanted to konk Dan Dierdorf on the head after he repeatedly told viewers -- right after a graphic appeared on screen showing that Chargers QB Philip Rivers was 8-for-17 passing -- that his completion percentage was "way below" 50 percent.

Do the math Dierdorf. If he completes his next pass, he's at 50 percent. If he gets lucky and does two in a row, then I guess he's "way over" 50 percent.

On the day, Rivers finished at 21-for-40 -- or "way over" 50 percent.
