Jan Crawford Greenburg, the author of Supreme Conflict, has an excellent summary of how the justices just might come down on the D.C. gun ban that it coming before the Supreme Court this term. Greenburg makes an interesting case that the decision may not be 5-4 in the classic conservative/liberal split.
