The wrong call

Courtesy of the weird news watchers over at Fark.com, we have this story out of Tampa, Fla., on the stupidity of school administrators when confronted with Nazi-vandalism in the bathrooms.

Instead of having employees monitor the facilities during passing periods or rounding up the usual suspects, the geniuses closed every bathroom on campus save one. That might work at a small school with 50 students. Unfortunately, the inaptly named Freedom High School has approximately 2,000 students. And one bathroom.

It should come as no surprise that tardies have gone through the roof. Or that students have been relieving themselves in bottles or bushes.

I'm surprised that the county health agency hasn't shut the school down -- or ordered the restrooms reopened.

However, I must say that I absolutely love the picture that the local TV station is running on the Web page with the story:
