Just checked my freezer and there's still no $90,000 in cash in there. Disappointed, I took a $20 out of my wallet, put it in the freezer, closed the freezer door and then opened it again. I just wanted to know a little of what it felt like to be the Democrat representative from Louisiana, William Jefferson.

"Cold cash" Jefferson is back in the news today because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has decided that the proper place for a crooked politician is on the Homeland Security panel. Apparently, Pelosi believes that he'll be kept out of mischief there.

Don't ask Pelosi how that whole "culture of corruption" thing is going.
