Three idiots vandalized a nuclear missile launch site in North Dakota last week. The headline says they sabotaged it -- wrong. Using a sledgehammer and household hammers, all they would accomplish in 200 years is breaking the hammers. Rest assured, there would have been little problem launching that missile before, during and after the anti-war nuts little stunt.

If they'd managed to get to a silo under maintenance, it'd have been another story. The silo lid is quite robust but the missiles are quite fragile.
Let me modify my previous comment...
According to the article, they'd disabled the lock on the personnel entry hatch. If they'd decided to enter the silo proper, damaging the missile would have been painfully easy (the Titan II missile accident of 1980 serves as a pointed reminder of just how fragile the missile skins are). Sabotage isn't an unreasonable term under the circumstances.
