Peta

Fox News' Neil Cavuto had a representative from the evil Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) on his program because today is apparently an anniversary of some kind.

Cavuto asked an excellent question of the human-hater: Let's say you're in a canoe and can save only one other being -- do you save the dog or the human?

The woman's response was disgusting. "Most people would save their own." Yes, but what would you do? "Well, let's say that the human is a serial rapist and the dog just saved an entire family."

Talk about a seriously out of whack worldview.

I would propose a different question so we can really get down to cases. Suppose the human is an Atkins dieter and the dog is a pit bull. Now, which one do you save?

I'm going to get a hamburger.
