Newsweek magazine, which employs Evan "15 points" Thomas, has plans for one of those insta-books on the 2004 election. That's not unexpected. What is telling and troubling however, is the synopsis that they chose to publish.

Somebody in the marketing department messed up. I'm sure that Newsweek has a similar synopsis for when Bush wins, but that one didn't get posted on Amazon.

Sometimes it's the big things that hurt journalistic credibility, and sometimes it's the little things. This is a little thing by itself, but it bodes much worse when the lead author is Thomas.
