Today's "Best of the Web" has an item on a school board member who had to apologize for his insensitivity after "telling people at a recent committee meeting 'to keep your comments like a woman's skirt: long enough to cover the subject, but brief enough to keep me interested."

Some people may take offense at such a comment. To them, I say: Get a life.
