Moussaoui gets life

The jury in Alexandria, Va., couldn't come to a unanimous verdict on so-called 20th hijacker Zaccharias Moussaoui, so he will get life without the possibility of parole.

I can live with this, but I have just one question: Does this mean he gets put in the general prison population?

I know it's generally frowned upon to cheer on prison violence, but in this one case I think I'm going to let it slide.

*UPDATE* I just got finished reading the jurors sentencing form here. [PDF document] You only have to read the first 13 pages of the document if you're interested, it just repeats after that with the same votes and findings for additional charges.

The thing that struck me after reading the form was that a majority of the juror -- nine to be exact -- found that Moussaoui's "unstable early childhood and dysfunctional family" along with his father's "violent temper"  were mitigating factors weighing against the death penalty.

So having a tough childhood makes it OK for little Johnny to become a terrorist?
