An inconvenient boat

Al Gore's got a new houseboat named "Bio-Solar One. Yes, BS-1. I can't make this up.

The boat is a custom-built Fantasy Yacht built specifically for Gore by Bill Austin of Sparta, Tennessee.

According to Austin, the engines are bio-diesel fueled and Gore can expect to use about two gallons an hour to cruise Center Hill Lake. With a 500 gallon capacity Austin says Gore won’t need a refill for “two or three years” though he admits having “no clue” about where Gore could get bio-diesel at the lake. The Hurricane Marina dock doesn’t sell it.

That's right, he'll have to have bio-diesel trucked in custom just for him.

If it wasn't obvious by now that global warming is a con-job designed to enrich the likes of Al Gore, I don't know what it can take to convince you. Seriously. If Earth is in the balance and we've only got 10 years to stop producing CO2, then carbon-neutral isn't enough. We should be big-time carbon-negative and the holier-than-thous like Gore should quit with their conspicuous consumption.

I'm not really amenable to being told to turn down the thermostat, wear a sweater and make sure my tires are properly inflated so that Gore can cruise at 2 gallons per hour on his boat.
