Former Vice President Al Gore's explanation that it doesn't matter how much energy you use as long as it's "carbon-free" just doesn't pass the smell test.
Sorry, but it's just too much like the pre-Protestant Reformation church and its granting of indulgences to the wealthy and powerful. If he was truly sincere, he'd change his lifestyle and spend his vast fortune on reducing greenhouse gases.

When the High Priest of AGW starts acting in a manner consistent with the way he lectures us, I will begin to START the process of taking him, and his cause, seriously. Until then, forget it. Gore is one of the most morally bankrupt persons on the face of the earth.
