The New Criterion's blog has an excellent little comparison of the private residences of two of America's most famous environmentalists.

It's a little odd that one of these two individuals is practically worshiped by those who pray at the green shrine, while the other is vilified. However, when you realize environmentalism is (and always has been) more about appearances than actual production it becomes perfectly clear.
