So, for the past couple of months I've been getting these postcards in the mail from a company contracted by the Grossmont Union High School District asking for various information for the Granite Hills High School class of '90 graduate directory.
Problem: I graduated from Helix High School.
I finally got around to calling the number early last month to tell them that they had me at the wrong school and thought I'd solved the problem.
Nope. Today I got yet another postcard, just like the others.
I hate to say that this appears to be the result of incompetence at the Grossmont Union High School District. I just wish I knew someone who could clean up this mess.

In order to establish a mailing list for the Grossmont Union High School District Foundation a company was selected to develop a directory of District Alumni. Unfortunately, sometimes information on those who graduated in the last century (you) is in error. We are working to try and resolve these problems and in so doing have come upon some interesting info. You may have, in fact, not graduated at all. Apparently there is some issue about you forging your parents signatures on permission slips. We will be looking into this problem more fully and will report back.
Hey - that beats getting a card from John Kerry and his pseudo wife.
They sent more cards asking that the first card be recycled.
I wish John Kerry were recycled - into a human being.
It's obvious that they really do want to hear from you. So, why don't you go ahead and fill one out and send it in? Since they are being a little creative in establishing a "class," you can feel free to be a little creative in how you fill in the answer blanks. Go ahead....have fun. You've earned it!
If it was your university, I bet they know what number to call to ask for the donation! You can run, but you can't hide.
