I got Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition and Office 2007 in the mail yesterday. Seven hundred bucks worth of software for free -- all for playing six Webcasts -- including one or two that I actually did listen to (and didn't understand more than a fraction of what they were talking about).

The strange thing is that I have absolutely no desire to install either of the programs just yet. I'm pretty confident that there are going to be problems with some of my more antiquated peripherals and possibly some of the software. Add to that the fact that Microsoft is already hard at work on Service Pack 1 and I think I can afford to wait.
