Amid the furor of journalist Seymour Hersh's revelation that the Bush administration was working on plans to attack Iran, many sensible people pointed out that we've had plans to attack just about everyone at one time, including Canada.

Well, word comes today that if ever we should decide that the Stanley Cup should always belong in the U.S. and forcibly annex Canada, including those pesky French-speaking ones in Quebec, then we should do so on the weekend.
