MSNBC show host Chris Matthews spoke at the University of Toronto and revealed to everyone the amoral world in which he lives.
"The period between 9/11 and Iraq was not a good time for America. There wasn't a robust discussion of what we were doing," Matthews said.
"If we stop trying to figure out the other side, we've given up. The person on the other side is not evil -- they just have a different perspective."
That's right. Hijacking airliners and flying them into buildings killing thousands of innocent people isn't evil, it's just misunderstood.
If you're unable to recognize that there is such a thing as evil in the world, then you're a morally bankrupt enabler.
Osama bin Laden is not misunderstood; he is evil.
