I missed the milestone earlier this week, but on Monday The New York Times published Paul Krugman's 500th column. The indispensible Lying in Ponds noted that Krugman continues to bat 1.000 -- over the course of 500 columns Krugman has devoted not one to praise of a Republican nor criticism of a Democrat.

Krugman would have to experience some sort of Saul on the road to Damascus type of conversion before he would be able to shed his "partisan hack" label.
