John Kerry is a saint, really.

Fox News' Chris Wallace demonstrated the most evenhanded and honest interview with regard to the swift boat vets.

Ramesh Ponnuru over at National Review Online reports on some polls regarding attitudes toward stem cell research. While the questions are loaded, it shows how derelict the media has been in their duty to educate the public about what is really going on with this research.

There's a new blog by a systems editor (aka tech weenie -- no offense, that's just the more common title) at a Seattle-area publication. It's got some good stuff on politics and home entertainment systems. He also says: "After 20 years, I have yet to meet a conservative journalist, and a lot are in kooky kucinich territory."

I've been working in quite a few different departments lately at the Union-Tribune and it's been a pleasure to talk with people I don't normally get a chance to interact with. I've found it very interesting, when I work in the business department, at how liberal that group of reporters is. According to Eric Alterman, business reporters should be among the most conservative at the paper, but I've found the opposite to be true.

There's a new Web site that identifies undercover agents and "snitches." It gives out personal information that could make the person a target. It's interesting that TalkLeft appears to endorse this sort of thing. Of course, I'm willing to bet big money that they weren't so understanding when Pro-Life activists listed abortion doctors on old West style "Wanted" posters. That Web site was deemed to be an illegal threat. [Adobe Reader required for link]
