Stifling dissent

The left-wing Democrat surrogate MoveOn.org has come out with an advertisement attacking President Bush for his service in the National Guard.

This is no surprise. What is a surprise is MoveOn.org's demand that Bush should somehow censor Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

"George Bush used his father to get into the National Guard, and -- when the chips were down, went missing. ... Now, he's allowing false advertising that attacks John Kerry," the narrator says.

He's "allowing" the attacks? Maybe MoveOn.org really does need to get a good look at that First Amendment thing. Then they might discover that it allows a variety of free speech -- even stuff they disagree with.
