You know this ticks-off readers

From today's New York Times Corrections page:

The crossword puzzle yesterday provided an erroneous clue for 60 Down, seeking the answer "ELAL." " `Raid on Entebbe' airline" was incorrect because the hijacked passengers who were rescued at Entebbe in 1976 had flown on Air France, not El Al.

One thing you learn really quick in the newspaper business -- you don't mess with the crossword puzzle or the comics. Libel a politician? No big deal. Mess up a crossword puzzle clue -- you get phone calls. Tons of them!
